  • 100 g Greek yogurt about ½ cup
  • 80 g seed oil (such as sunflower or canola) about ⅓ cup
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • a pinch salt

  2. In a large bowl, mix together the whole wheat flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. Add the Greek yogurt, seed oil, and vanilla essence to the dry ingredients. Stir everything together until you have a smooth mixture.
  4. On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a shape that fits your baking dish.
  5. Evenly spread your chosen fresh fruit over the dough.
Baking
  1. Bake in your preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  2. Allow the crostata to cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

For serving, slice the crostata into wedges and serve it warm with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of Greek yogurt, vanilla ice cream, or a drizzle of honey. Garnish with mint leaves or powdered sugar for a colorful presentation. Experiment with different fruits and consider adding maple syrup or honey for sweetness. Make it gluten-free by using a gluten-free flour blend.
