  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 box French Vanilla pudding mix (5 oz.)
  • 2 cups milk (480 ml)
  • 1 container whipped topping (12 oz.)
Fruit and Layers
  • 2 boxes Vanilla Wafers (about 20 oz/570 g total)
  • 6 to 8 pieces bananas, sliced
  • 1 container strawberries, sliced

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk. Mix until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  2. Stir in the French Vanilla pudding mix and the milk. Continue mixing until well combined and the mixture is smooth.
Layering
  1. In a large serving dish, layer the vanilla wafers at the bottom.
  2. Add a layer of sliced bananas, followed by a layer of sliced strawberries on top of the wafers.
  3. Pour half of the pudding mixture evenly over the fruit and wafers.
  4. Repeat the layering process with another layer of vanilla wafers, the remaining bananas, and strawberries, ending with the rest of the pudding mixture on top.
  5. Spread the whipped topping over the final layer of pudding, smoothing it out nice and even.
Chilling
  1. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, before serving.
Serving
  1. Garnish with slices of fresh strawberry or banana if desired.

Notes

This pudding is perfect for making in advance; it tastes better the longer it sits. Feel free to mix in other fruits like blueberries or raspberries. For a lighter version, substitute the sweetened condensed milk with Greek yogurt.
