  • 5 g coconut oil about 0.18 oz

Method

Preparation
  1. Crush the Cookies: Start by grinding the 250 g of Gewürz-Spekulatius into a fine consistency using a food processor or rolling pin.
  2. Mix Ingredients: Add in 200 g of peanut butter and the zest of the organic orange. Mix until you achieve a sandy yet oily dough.
  3. Shape the Dough: Take small amounts of the dough (about 10 g each) and roll them into small balls.
  4. Chill the Balls: Place the shaped balls onto a tray and refrigerate them for at least an hour.
  5. Refine the Shape: After chilling, roll the balls in your hands to ensure they are smooth and perfectly round.
  6. Melt the Chocolate: In a heatproof bowl, melt the 200 g of dark chocolate with 5 g of coconut oil over a double boiler. Stir until smooth.
  7. Coat the Spheres: Dip each sphere into the melted chocolate, ensuring each is well-coated, then place them onto a drying rack.
  8. Sprinkle with Salt: Sprinkle a few grains of coarse sea salt on top of each chocolate-coated sphere.
  9. Let Them Set: Allow the spheres to dry completely, preferably overnight.
  10. Store and Enjoy: Place the finished spheres into small paper cups and store in an airtight container.
