Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 180 °C (356 °F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened butter with the powdered sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Gradually add the flour, ground almonds, cocoa powder, pudding powder, and salt, mixing until a smooth dough forms.
- Shape the dough into small pieces and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each piece.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cookies are firm and lightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet, then melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler or microwave.
Serving
- Once cookies are cool, dip the bottom of each in the melted chocolate or drizzle it over the top.
- Serve Shock Clouds on a plate, paired with hot coffee or tea. Garnish with chopped almonds or powdered sugar.
Notes
For better dough handling, chill it in the fridge for 30 minutes if too soft. You can use white or milk chocolate for a different flavor variation. Adding a teaspoon of vanilla extract or a sprinkle of cinnamon can enhance the taste.
