Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4-6 pieces Chicken Thighs (about 1.5 lbs or 700 g) Bone-in or skin-on for more flavor.
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced Adjust to taste.
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated (about 100 g) Can substitute with mozzarella or goat cheese.
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream (about 240 ml) Or half-and-half for a lighter option.
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil For searing the chicken.
  • Parsley for garnish Chopped, for serving.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken thighs generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken thighs and sear for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown on both sides.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, minced garlic, and grated Parmesan cheese. Stir well until mixed.
  5. Pour the cream mixture over the seared chicken in the skillet, ensuring they are well-coated.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  7. Once done, remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

You can add spinach or sun-dried tomatoes to the cream mixture for extra flavor. Try red pepper flakes for some heat. Chicken breasts can be substituted; watch cooking time to avoid drying them out.
