Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened Using full-fat cream cheese helps achieve a richer, creamier texture.
  • 1 cup green olives, chopped (drained if in brine) Can be substituted with black olives or a mixture for a different flavor.
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley (for coating)
  • to taste extra olives for decoration Optional

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chopped olives, shredded cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder. Blend well using an electric mixer or a wooden spoon until smooth.
  2. Once the mixture is combined, place it in the center of a large piece of plastic wrap. Shape it into a ball and wrap it tightly. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
  3. After chilling, unwrap the cheese ball and roll it in chopped fresh parsley to coat it evenly. If desired, place extra olives on top for garnish.
  4. Serve on a platter with an assortment of crackers or sliced vegetables. Enjoy!

Notes

For maximum flavor, let the cheese ball chill overnight before serving. If you prefer a little heat, consider adding red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce to the mixture. Using a food processor can make chopping olives quick and easy without creating a mess.
