Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, take the 7 grams of Agar and 60 ml of water. Stir gently until you achieve a thick and creamy consistency.
- In a deep stainless steel pan, combine 400 ml of coconut milk, 50 grams of unsweetened cocoa powder, and 120 ml of water. Mix well to ensure there are no lumps from the cocoa.
- Add the thick Agar mixture to the pan with the coconut milk and cocoa mixture. Using a whisk, mix everything together thoroughly until well combined.
Cooking
- Place the pan on medium heat. Allow the mixture to come to a gentle boil while stirring occasionally to prevent lumps from forming.
- Once the mixture is ready and all ingredients are blended smoothly, pour it into a silicone baking tray.
- Refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours, allowing the dessert to solidify properly.
Serving
- Once set, gently remove the dessert from the silicone tray and cut it into squares or rectangles. Arrange them on a plate.
- Consider topping it with fresh fruit, a sprinkle of coconut flakes, or a dusting of cocoa powder.
- This dessert pairs wonderfully with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of your favorite ice cream.
Notes
For a sweeter dessert, add honey or maple syrup. To vary the flavor, try vanilla extract or espresso powder. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
