Dough Ingredients
  • 250 g cottage cheese (8.8 oz)
  • 100 g soft butter (3.5 oz)
  • 2 pieces egg yolks
  • 100 g sugar (3.5 oz)
  • 250 g all-purpose flour (8.8 oz)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
Topping
  • 50 g walnuts, finely chopped (1.8 oz)
  • Red pepper flakes or paprika for topping

Method

  5. Cut the dough into strips and then roll each strip into rose shapes.
  6. Place the formed rose pastries onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Sprinkle red pepper flakes or paprika on top of each pastry for an additional flavor kick.
Baking
  1. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for approximately 20 minutes, or until the pastries are golden brown.
